Goalies:leg pads, goalie glove (not baseball mitt),chest protector ( any coaches needing this equipment please speak to coordinator)
Games are scheduled every 50 minutes, so please try to be considerate to the teams playing after you and leave the court as quickly as possible.
Clinic Division 15 min practice followed by two 10 minute periods
PeeWee Division:2 – 12 minute periods Penguin Division:3 – 12 minute periods Beaver Division:3 – 12 minute periods Cadet Division:3 – 12 minute periods
The last 2 minutes of the game is stop time.
Pee wee Division stops the clock and changes lines. All others change on the fly.
CHAMPIONSHIP Games will use "sudden death" to break a tie. Shoot outs are used in all other cases.
Offsides: is enforced at the Penguin, Beaver and Cadet Divisions.
Time outs: Each coach gets 2 timeouts for the game. There is no overtime in regular season games, a shoot out determines winner.
In playoffs, there will be overtime.There are no timeouts during overtime in the playoffs.( even if coach did not use them during game)
Net size: The nets are smaller for Clinic, Pee Wees and Penguin Divisions.
Beaver and Cadet use standard size nets.
Penalties: Standard NHL penalties are called. No Penalties in Clinic. Penalties will be called starting mid-season in Pee Wee. Pee Wee, Penguin, Beaver 1 minute, Cadet 2 minutes.
There is ZERO TOLERANCE for any foul language from players, coaches & parents. They will be asked to leave the game immediately.
Rosters:all rosters are created by Youth Office. There will be no additions after mid-season. Players must ONLY play on the team they are registered for. Violation of this will result in forfeiture of that game.
Pee Wee Division - At every 2 minute game stop there will be a mandatory 5 player
substitution by each team. In the event that a team has less than 10 players, no player shall be allowed to start more than two consecutive substitutions.
Beaver and Cadet divisions – Any player receiving more than 3 penalties are out of the game.
